About The Project
In an era of digital transformation, higher education plays a pivotal role in preparing professionals with the digital skills to ethically manage AI. By expanding existing partner networks and fostering collaborations, TaLAI serves a dual mission: it benefits national communities and contributes to teaching and learning innovation on a European scale, offering academic teachers the opportunity to enhance their AI skills and competencies, ultimately impacting various facets of social life through novel teaching methods.
The TaLAI (Teaching and Learning with Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education) project aims to explore methods and strategies for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning practices in higher education (HE) while adhering to ethical principles.
This initiative aims to enhance the AI literacy, competence, and skills of educators and students.
The project consortium will:
Develop a digital TaLAI Platform: Providing guidance, digital storytelling, teaching recommendations, and a discussion forum for ethical AI use in higher education.
Create an online TaLAI Course: Enhancing HE educators' digital literacy and ethical AI application skills.
Formulate TaLAI Policy Recommendations: Addressing ethical AI integration in HE assessments.
Aligning with UNESCO's call for ethical integration of AI in HE, the TaLAI project addresses the pressing need for innovative teaching methods that equip future professionals and leaders with the necessary skills to manage AI responsibly. By expanding existing networks and collaborating with HE institutions, the TaLAI project aims to make its findings and outcomes widely accessible, fostering collaboration and driving teaching and learning innovation.
